The school’s initial years were marked by a few location changes. In February 2007, the Sisters moved into their new convent, and by September of the same year, the preschool was temporarily moved to the convent’s residence. This was done to prepare for the completion of the first phase of a new, three-phase school building project.

About Our Lady of Holy Cross
Our Lady of Holy Cross School (OLHCS) was founded and is operated by the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross. The school’s history began in 2004 as a small after-school program for children from St. Martha’s School, which was held in a rented house in downtown Kasoa.
After the success of the pilot program, the Sisters of the Holy Cross decided to expand their educational mission. In September 2006, the after-school program officially became Our Lady of Holy Cross School, starting with a preschool section and a class of 21 children.
